The breakfront brche violette marble top surmounted by a rectangular framed mirror, headed by a central basket of flowers, flanked to each side by scrolled foliage and vines, above a central door with ribbon-tied laurel swags supporting an oval medallion inlaid with a celestial globe and stars, above flower-filled interwined cornucopiae, flanked to each side by a drawer with a stylised key frieze, above a door, with shaped quarter-veneered sides, the angles headed by a laurel pendant, on foliate-cast cabriole legs, the back inscribed three times with the inventory number 1342
