A pair of Meissen four-light candelabra
Circa 1880
Each with a shaped square base on four scroll feet, supporting the serpentine stem, flanked to the front by two figures emblematic of the Seasons, the back with flowers and grapes, supporting a spiral gadrooned nozzle above a foliate drip-pan, supporting a removable three-light branch centred by a further branch, each nozzle with foliate drip-pan, the underside of each base with underglaze blue crossed swords mark above the number 9, one impressed 50/C129, the other 50/31/E 128
