of shallow rectangular form with serpentine sides, ivory and silver stringing, the tapered cover with bands of rippled carving about a silver plaque engraved with monogram of initials RHS, silk-lined partitioned interior containing six silver thimbles of various sizes, a number of mother-of-pearl and steel sewing tools and other trinkets, distressed, restoration -- 8in.
