A SALMON-PAINTED AND DECORATED BLANKET CHEST
Paint decoration attributed to Moses Eaton, Jr. (1796-1886), Hancock and Dublin, New Hampshire, second quarter 19th century
The rectangular salmon-painted top with green and red stencilled leaf, star and line decoration and molded edge lifting to a conforming interior fitted with a till above a conforming salmon-painted case decorated with green and red-painted urns, swags and pinwheels over a similarly decorated skirt, on bracket feet, till missing lid
20in. high, 37in. wide, 18in. deep
