The broken swan's-neck pediment terminating in carved rosettes centering a C-scroll and a cabochon-carved cartouche and flanked by flame-and-urn finials above an arched glazed door opening to an engraved brass dial with Roman and Arabic chapter rings centering a seconds sweep, calendar aperture and engraved plaque, "Thomas Wagstaffe LONDON," all enclosed by gilded cast-brass applied spandrels and surmounted by a dial flanked by similar spandrels, all flanked by free-standing colonettes over a waisted case fitted with a door with shaped crest flanked by fluted quarter-columns, on ogee bracket feet, works and case married
