A very similar cat in The Henry Francis du Pont Winterthur Museum and illustrated by A.M. Palmer, A Winterthur Guide to Chinese Export Porcelain, p. 56, was in the collection of Dr. Thomas Rodney Brinckle of Philadelphia (1804-53).
