Finely painted with a Chinese interior scene showing a couple seated on silk-wrapped garden stools at a table, she holding an unrolled scroll decorated with the carefully delineated coat-of-arms of a lady and he poised with brush as if having just painted it, a second lady watching from beside a bamboo table topped with antiques
