In the George II style, flat-chased with celtic motifs, the lower body engraved with two crests with mottoes, the upper body with a vacant circular cartouche on each side, with upswept double-scroll handles, the interior gilt, marked on body and cover, the base also stamped with the retailer's mark of GIBSON LIMITED BELFAST.
