The shaped oval stand on four lion's paw, scroll and anthemion feet, with two acanthus foliage, palmette, water leaf and scroll bracket handles and gadrooned shell, foliate scroll and anthemion border, the partly-fluted tureen with similar border and on four acanthus foliage and scroll bracket feet, with two reeded leaf-capped shell and acanthus bracket handles with lion's mask terminals, cast and chased beneath the rim with a border of shell, palmettes and scrolls, the detachable domed cover with gadrooned and fluted borders and detachable reeded leaf-capped ring handle with lion's mask terminals and acanthus flower calyx, the plain liner with fluted scroll bracket handles, the stand and body each engraved twice with a coat-of-arms with baron's coronet above, the cover and liner twice with a crest with baron's coronet above, marked on stand, body, cover, liner and handle
