A Cockerel, a Turkey, a Cockatoo, Parrots and other Birds in a Landscape, a City beyond

We are grateful to Mr. Fred G. Meijer of the Rijksbureau voor Kunsthistorische Documentatie for confirming the attribution of the present painting and suggesting a date in the 1660s. It is related to the series of thirty-nine copper panels by van Kessel of The Four Parts of the World in the Museo del Prado, Madrid (Inv. no. 1554).
