The primary version of the first painting is with Giorgio Caretto, Turin and the second painting is based on the original in the Muse du Louvre, Paris (see F. Arisi, Gian Paolo Panini, 1986, p. 411, no. 362, color pl. 193; and p. 338, no. 215).
