Lot Essay

Richard Offner, in A Corpus of Florentine Painting, Section III, I, 1986, p. 232, suggests that the Master of the Horne Triptych is 'probably identical with the Master of Saint Cecilia in his latest phase'.

We are grateful to Mr. Everett Fahy for suggesting the attribution.
