Each with waisted domed top and cabochon finial with acanthus clasps, the body with a foliate Vitruvian scroll collar centred by a mask, the sides with ram's heads above a waisted oval plinth with beaded collar, the mounts on one urn stamped twice 'GARNIER', the other stamped once 'GARNIER', the marble with restored breaks
23 in. (60 cm.) high; 20 in. (52 cm.) wide (2)

Purchased by Consul General Karl Bergsten (d. 1953) in Paris in 1922.
