The drum-shaped case with foliate cast handle and scroll supports each stamped GM, white enamel Roman chapter ring signed GHIGNON MEUSNIER (restored) with skeletonized centre showing vertically positioned lever escapement, front wind and alarm set (connection lacking), the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike and alarm on bell to the backplate with repeat stamp
