The case surmounted with a figure of Cupid with a bow and flanked by porcelain ovals painted with flowers, a further panel to the front of the base depicting amorini, on toupie feet, the porcelain dial with gilt Roman chapters and with flowers to the centre, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell; resting on giltwood and ebonised plinths
The clock -- 14in. (36cm.) high
