The hood with breakarch top, with recessed panel to the trunk door and conforming panel to the plinth on stepped skirting, the brass dial with cherub and coronet spandrels to the silvered chapter ring with chime selection (Whittington/Westminster) at XII, spotted finish to the centre, cut steel hands, a silvered plaque in the arch inscribed Tempus Fugit, the three train movement chiming on two sets of gongs
