The later rectangular plate in a moulded rectangular frame below an oil on canvas with a still life of game, with a mallard, a partridge, a pigeon and other game beside a shotgun, in a landscape with ruins, with printed paper label 'no. 12411/FRAME' and with remains of restorer's paper label for 'HIRAM H. HOELZER ... NEW YORK ...', inscribed in blue chalk '21/527', the painting associated and the frame reduced in height, extensive restorations
