an appropriate guise for the ubiquitous Tiger Moth which became the mainstay of Bristol civil flying clubs and the flying training schools of the RAF and Commonwealth airforces during the Second World War; exhibited at the 1975 Model Engineer Exhibition where it won a Silver Medal -- Wing Span 9in. (24.8cm.)
