With rectangular nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, mono-metallic balance, protective balance guard, micrometer regulator, the two-tone silvered matte dial with 1/4 Century Club numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, the rectangular-shaped case with curled lugs and inscribed snap on back, case, dial and movement signed.

Lot Essay

The model 3937, the "curled lug" Prince was the last model Prince to be made by Rolex. It was introduced in 1942 and ceased to be made in the early 1950's; although some watches remained with retailers for several years.
