Silvered dial signed Simpson and Robert, 34 Strand St, Liverpool, no 1/561, Roman numerals subsidiary seconds and up and down dials, gold hour and minute hands, fusee movement with Earnshaw escapement, spring foot detent with jewelled locking stone, cut binnetallic balance with cylindrical heat compenstaion weights, blued steel helical balance spring, gimball in brass bowl, three tier brass bound mahogany box, the middle section with signed and numberes ivory plaque, flush fit handles (escape wheel and second hand lacking)
