A 20 inch (50.8cm.) diameter terrestrial library globe, made up of twelve colour printed paper gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in degrees, no ecliptic, the oceans with very many tracks, names and dates of renowned explorers and expeditions, also with trade winds and ocean currents, the continents with some nation states delicately hand coloured in outline in orange, green and yellow, with much detail (neat repairs, some small dents, some surface discolouration), with engraved brass meridian half circle raised on turned ebonised column with three splayed outswept feet
