Comprising tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, coffee pot, chocolate/hot water pot, two-handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and two handled waste bowl, St. Dunstan pattern, each urn form with faceted sidess, the everted base and collar with trefoil at intervals, engraved with monogram KMS, kettle on stand over swing handle--13in. (33.6cm.) high, the tray length over handles--29in. (73.6cm.), gross weight 408oz (8)

Lot Essay

The orignial owner, Thomas A. Sperry, in partnership with Mr. Hutchinson, innovatively developed the trading of S. & H. Green Stamps. Mr. Sperry also published one of the first "Ladies Magazines" in 1915. The monogram KMS refers to his wife, Katherine Major Sperry.
