Oval, on four scroll feet headed by acanthus, the body part-fluted with two leaf-capped upswept handles issuing from scroll joins, the rim gadrooned, the domed cover with an acanthus calyx surmounted by a leaf-clad reeded handle, the cover engraved with a crest on one side, marked under base, cover and on finial
