The burgundy field with bold scrolling metal thread arabesques entwined with scrolling palmette vine, a small inscription cartouche above, the shouldered sage-green mihrab arch with spiralling arabesques and delicate tendrils, the small lower spandrels similar, in a rich sea-blue border of similarly entwined arabesques and floral tendrils between golden yellow palmette and arabesque and wine-red similar arcaded stripes, a pink kilim strip at each end, excellent condition
