A Chinese bronze ewer
with slender tapering spout, seated Buddhistic lion and brocade ball finial and ruyi sceptre form handle, set on a pierced flaring foot, decorated in Nagasaki lacquer and mother of pearl with quatrefoil panels of pavilions in tree-strewn river landscapes on a ground of scattered roundels of fruit and flower sprays -- 11in. (29.8cms) high, the ewer 18th century, (scattered chips).
