A late 17th/early 18th century continental brass and gilt metal crucifix;the Corpus Christi (silver-gilt), the perizonium caught on The Saviours right, the obverse of the cross foliate engraved, the bosses with symbols of the Evangelist, the reverse profusely engraved with the Half-Figure of the Ancient and Days, the Sun and Moon, animals of the Chase, an encampment and figure opposing Satan, marked only on the "I.N.R.I" inscription with a early 19th century Prussian census mark for 1806/7, probably German/Austro-Hungarian, circa 1700, (the Corpus lacking two nails).
