The album records a trip to Australia and New Zealand on board the S.S. Kent and comprises street, garden and harbour views around Sydney, Melbourne, Victoria and Wellington; the Blue Mountains, N.S.W.; several mountain and river views around New Zealand including six of the Pink and White Terraces, a salt print image of boiling sulphur on White Island, Bealey river, Punch Bowl Falls, Otira gorge and Green Island; images of Manawatu gorge, three of which include the photographer's horse-drawn van with J. Bracce Photographer Lambeth Quay Wellington painted on the side; a still life of Kiwi birds and one of wild animals taken in the Christchurch Museum; a group portrait of Maoris in traditional dress in front of a wood and straw house; and a few views around Aden and Egypt.
