The rectangular ratcheted top with later inset needlework panel and removable reading ledge flanked to each side by pull-out slides, and to the back with a rising silk-lined firescreen, the frieze with a sham drawer and with a working drawer to one side, the other side with a pull-out work basket, on square tapering legs, with brass caps and casters
