A bound copy of the screenplay for the 1939 M.G.M classic Gone With The Wind, inscribed by producer David O' Selznick. The script was presented to Ona Munson, who played the role of "Belle Watling", as a Christmas gift in 1939. The red leather bound script features an inscription on the upper righthand corner of a preliminary blank page, "For Ona, with gratitude for a fine performance, and best wishes for her future! David S. Xmas, 1939" . Labeled on the title page Final Shooting Script, January 24, 1939 the screenplay is 256 pages and includes stills from the film.
