This chair was first exhibited in the Autumn of 1928 under the auspices of Primavera. Ostergard points out that it was probably made in limited numbers by a metal working shop for Au Printemps (of which Primavera was a department) but goes on to note that the superb quality of joinery probably indicates a custom-made piece.
