and slightly domed cover, painted with a central panel depicting figures at various pursuits in a boat, on foot and on horseback amongst trees, buildings and rockwork in a garden landscape within a border of scrolling foliage, further borders of cell pattern, stylised key fret and scrolling foliage, the sides similarly decorated, the interior fitted with seven lidded boxes and twelve rectangular trays with playing card decoration -- 15in. (38.1cm) wide, early 19th Century.
