The first Wanli, the second circa 1640
A blue and white 'kraak porselein' saucer-dish painted to the centre with two deer, the sides painted and moulded with floral panels divided by jewels (rim crack and frittings), 26.3 cm diam.; and a Transitional dish decorated with a scholar seated on a rock beside a book, surrounded by panels of various standing figures and stylised tulips (crack and frittings), 28 cm. diam.
