Decorated in iron-red and gilt on underglaze blue, the central roundel with a tripod vase on a terrace containing a pine and cherry branch and iris, surrounded by three lozenges with stylised flowers reserved on an underglaze blue ground divided by flowering peonies, chrysanthemum and three pairs of quails, the reverse decorated with plum, peony and chrysanthemum
