A famille rose oval tureen, cover and stand
Qianlong
Enamelled with a cockerel watching another attacking a grasshopper, standing near a wickerwork fence and long branches of prunus and peony issuing from pierced promontory rockwork within a spearhead border, the rim encircled by a border formed by interwined lotus and magnolia, the sides applied with moulded leaf handles, the high stepped domed cover surmounted by a double-knop finial (cracks, frittings, finial repaired)
