two similar meissen two-handled ovoid vases
Late 19th Century, underglaze blue crossed swords mark
One painted in colours with a cartouche reserved with flowers surrounded by gilt scrolls on a blue ground, the other with a broad band with a spray of flowers on a white ground above gilt fluted lower section, gadrooned knop stems and domed gilt fluted feet with stiff-leaf band, applied with spiralling serpent handles with acanthus terminals
