A brass Chanukkah lamp
Poland, late 18th Century
The backplate cast and pierced with scrolled foliage, surmounted by two rampant lions flanking a crown, the detachable side panels pierced with lattice-work and floral tops, fitted with two detachable baluster- shaped servant-lights with circular drippan, on scrolled brackets, fronted by a row of eight vase-shape candlesockets within a lattice work gallery, on four pad supports.
