Dancer and musician Danseur et musicien

The artist was particularly interested in the spectacle of African dances and ordered performances, during which he made sketches and oil studies. Some of his watercolours of dancers illustrate Chalux's article "Au Coeur de l'Afrique Sauvage", L'Illustration, Paris, October 1929.
