A green-patinated and gilt-metal garniture de cheminee
Late 19th Century
Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of five-light candelabra, overall decorated with floral garlands and foliate mounts, the mantel clock with urn-shaped case surmounted by a floral finial, containing the circular white enamelled dial, signed H. LUPPENS & CIE/BRUXELLES, the twin barrel movement with outside countwheel strike on bell, stamped for JAPY FRERES and stamped H. LUPPENS/PARIS, above a waved oval base flanked by winged putti, on scrolling feet; The candelabras decorated conformingly
