Circa 1760
Modelled as Cupid holding a pair of billing doves, a ribbon about his shoulders inscribed TOUJOUR HUREUX (sic.), wearing a puce-flowered turquoise-lined cloak, crouching atop a pink, puce and purple marbled column, with gilt-metal mounts (one wing repaired, hairline crack to Cupid's body and rubbing to one knee, slight wear to gilding)
