Of baluster form, on circular spreading foot chased with a band of flowers and foliage, the body chased with shells, scrolls and foliage and a coursing scene, the upper rim applied with scrolls and acanthus, the curved partly reeded handle with a cast greyhound finial and lion's mask terminal, the hinged domed cover with a detachable crouching hare beneath thistle foliage, the base stamped STORR & MORTIMER 165, marked on body, cover and finial
