The domed lid with ball finial and spoon whole, with greek-key pattern friezes, inscribed LIPSCOMBE & CO PATENT 93 REGENT ST LONDON, above the bulbous cylindrical body applied with the royal coat-of-arms and inscribed LIPSCOMBE & CO'S PATENTEES BY SPECIAL APPOINTMENT TO HER MAJESTY & HRH THE PRINCE OF WALES 93 REGENT STREET LONDON, with a whole to the bottom side, flanked to each side by a twist handle
