Bow-fronted, surmounted by a shaped splash-back, the front divided into nine fielded panels with fleur-de-lys, flowers, stars, animals and heraldic devices, the top central panel inscribed 7 Zacc Marshall 6, the central panel with a coronet, also inscribed to the bottom T. Ward Fecit, the lower central panel with later tap impressed WARNERS LONDON
54 in. (137 cm.) high; 43 in. (110.5 cm.) diameter

Lot Essay

This corner cistern is a rare example of the plombier's skillful work and has the additional interest of previous admirer's grafitti.
