The case with restored plinth on bun feet, hollow arched trunk door with brass-framed lenticle depicting Europa and the Bull, the hood with -columns with later capitals, the later dial engraved H. I Dykstra, Sneek with silvered chapter ring, pierced steel hands, the matted centre with seconds and calendar apertures, foliate spandrels, the arch with painted rolling moonphase and ten tune selection, the movement with five pillars, anchor escapement, Dutch strike on two bells, the added musical train with transverse-mounted 12 in. long pin barrel playing on fourteen bells via twenty four hammers; case, dial & movement composite
