A FRENCH MID 19TH CENTURY ENAMEL AND GEM-SET CHATELAINE AND POCKET WATCH
Chased en quatre couleurs, the central openwork floral and foliate brooch with applied silver cherubs supporting an enamelled shield, a multi gem-set crown above (two rose-cut diamonds deficient), articulated floral swags and scrolls suspending an open faced keyless wound pocket watch below, the white enamel dial signed Otterbourg Paris with black Roman and red Arabic numerals, the reverse with similar enamelled shield and cherubic supports, a lapis lazuli cherub seal and a cherubic musician watch key to either side, French control marks for silver and gold, 16.5 cm long
