Edo Period (18th Century)
The original eight plate russet iron suji bachi overlaid at a later date with an iron dragon and clouds, the dragon's head boldly modelled protrudes forward to form a fore crest, well mounted with a gilt copper and shakudo tehen kanamono, gilded fukurin and a shakudo mon on the cloud shaped fukigayeshi, the back of the bowl fitted with a bracket for another crest, five lame komanju jikoro in iron, black lacquered and laced in green sugake odoshi
