A pair of French silver-plated five-light candelabra
probably French, 19th century
After an 18th century model by Louis-Joseph Lenhendrick, on shaped circular base with ovolo and foliate border, the raised centre with swirling flutes supporting an octagonal baluster stem with scalework panels and shell terminals, the vase-shaped socket with detachable branches with central light and four foliate scrolling branches with similar detachable socket and drip-pans, some with silver liners, engraved with a coat-of-arms beneath a coronet
