maker's mark of Edward Farrell, London, the larger bowls 1817, the two smaller bowls, 1818
The larger bowls each on three displayed eagle and ball feet, two applied with knight on horseback, the sides cast and chased with classical scenes of a battle, a banquet and a medieval scene with cupid, one bowl with Venus mask and vine bracket handle and detachable domed cover with detachable dove, flower and branch finial, the body with an applied cartouche engraved with a crest with Baron's coronet above, the other bowl with shell and scroll rim, the two smaller bowls each on three hoof feet, the sides cast and chased with similar scenes, marked on sides and cover, the finial unmarked
