Maker's mark of Robert Timbrell and Joseph Bell, London, 1709, the later lamp unmarked
Plain tapering and on moulded rim foot, the curved spout with hinged cover, with scroll thumbpiece and hinged domed cover with baluster finial, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms within scrolling foliage, the circular stand with three scroll and stud feet, with turned part-wood side handle and later detachable plain burner and cover, marked on body, cover, stand and stand handle
