Feather-banded to the front, the waved moulded cornice with three later blocks and urn finials and a pair of arched mirror-panelled doors with later bevelled plates, enclosing a removable fitted interior with pigeon-holes, small drawers and originally with crossgrained mouldings, the lower section with a hinged slope enclosing a fitted interior of drawers and pigeon-holes and a pink velvet writing-surface, above one long, two short and two long drawers, on later bun feet, the bottom moulding replaced, the interior of the bureau section with replacements, the fielded panel on the cabinet section probably replacing a mirrored panel, restorations
