The back of nineteen ivory ribs with intervening ebony stringing, the stringing continuing up the back of the neck, with later tortoiseshell back clasp with mother-of-pearl rose, the front edged with mother-of-pearl, ebony and ivory stringing, the soundhole with a tortoiseshell surround inlaid with mother-of-pearl roses, the bridge terminating in applied mother-of-pearl scrolling roses, the pegbox set for twelve ivory pegs terminating in a tortoiseshell finial set with three mother-of-pearl fleur-de-lys, four triple courses
